Tell us about you

My name is Yasmin. I’m the sales and marketing lead at ProConvey. A lot of my work focuses on helping founders within the legal industry improve processes, whether that’s in house or in a startup

What types of document do you typically draft?

A software licensing agreement is probably the document I draft the most. Other than that, it’s terms that are needed in the context of a fundraise.

How does Genie save you time?

I remember when I was in one of my first startups, I was asked to draft a contract and I probably spent between 2 and 3 days just looking up laws and legislations that were applicable within the UK. Now that I can use Genie to do that in a couple of clicks, it saves me all that time that I can now spend doing other things.

So how much time does Genie save you?

Now that I can use Genie, the most time I’m spending writing that contract actually goes into writing the prompt, so I’d say I save at least 90-95% of my time when it comes to drafting contracts using Genie.

How does Genie compare to other AI platforms?

I find Genie’s outputs the most trustworthy on the market. For drafting contracts, Genie is definitely the best AI tool I’ve used on the market so far.

I think that Genie is really easy to use and really simple to adopt in either a law firm or an inhouse practice.

How has Genie changed the way you work?

When I first started using Genie, I wasn’t fundraising - I didn’t even know what fundraising meant. Looking ahead two or three years, now I’m helping startups raise 3-5 million pounds, it’s definitely the first piece of software that I recommend.
